Year after year, tickets for the internationally adored Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo are some of the most sought-after at the Edinburgh Festival, while its annual television audience reaches 100 million viewers worldwide. The Scotsman Hotel is offering an exclusive package which combines a delicious three course pre-theatre meal with Prosecco at North Bridge Brasserie followed by the incredible sights and sounds of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
The unforgettable evening begins with Scottish cuisine inspired by fresh local ingredients at the five-star hotel's North Bridge Brasserie. The traditional yet contemporary pre-theatre menu, served between 5.30pm - 6.45pm, includes smoked mackerel and tarragon English muffin, followed by mains including slow cooked leg of duck or twice-baked Bonnet goats cheese soufflé. Tempting desserts of dark chocolate mousse or sticky toffee pudding can be washed down with a bubbling glass of Prosecco.
After which a ten minute stroll down The Royal Mile will take you to the esplanade of Edinburgh Castle; the scenic background to the hundreds of Commonwealth performers at the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. The 2014 programme includes the atmospheric sounds of the Massed Pipes and Drums, outstanding precision displays by troupes and tartan splaying traditional dancing, culminating in an incredible firework display over the city's skyline. The Scotsman Hotel are offering a three course pre-theatre meal with glass of Prosecco and entrance to the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo for just £80.00 per person, available very Friday and Saturday until the 23rd of August*.
